This project aims to adress the problematic situations occurring in Río Seco, a river located in Alicante. The river essentially depends on the water poured by a wastewater management plant placed 3 km up its mouth, so every human inhabiting the area is contributing to maintain wildlife in the river. However, there are other aspects affecting life in the river, such as the invasion of some agressive plants and mosquitos, which proliferate owing to the blockage in some parts of the river. Until now, humans have faced these problems with extreme measures, always involving the manual eradication of these unpleasant species, therefore, here it is proposed a different procedure in order to deal with these inconveniences.

After visiting and investigating the ecosystem thoroughly, the bigger picture can be taken into consideration and design proper solutions to turn Río Seco into a more welcoming landscape to all human and non-human species. As if it were a bestiary of specimens, three beasts are incorporated into the already existing complex of other beasts inhabiting and defining the area. The first blue beast measures and provides oxigen to the river when it has been excessively exhausted by one of the invassive plants living on the banks, making it possible for fish to breath. The yellow beast focuses on the biosequestration that another invassive plant accomplishes, controlling the levels of CO2 in the terrain and calling for birds to nest in these vegetation masses. Finally, the pink beast is home to the bats in the area, helping them hunt for mosquitos, regulating insects population in the river.
