This project reinterprets the Rick Owens Tec-T bodysuit, blending archival patterns with digital craftsmanship to create a unique, one-piece design. Built upon the original Rick Owens patterns shared by SHOWstudio the garment was digitally reconstructed and adapted into a full-body silhouette, paired with over-the-knee boots inspired by the Porterville Cantilever boots from Owens’ FW24 collection. The avatar, a virtual version of Hannah Rose from Matières Fécales, was chosen to embody the attitude and presence necessary to carry such a sculptural look.
The setting—a stark, distorted white-tiled cyc background—provides a high-contrast stage for the garment, emphasizing its bold lines and exaggerated proportions. This aesthetic choice nods to The Substance and Mowalola’s SS25 presentation (set design by TOR Studio), embracing a raw, industrial visual language that complements the futuristic and uncompromising nature of Rick Owens’ designs. Through this project, digital fashion becomes a space for both reinterpretation and reinvention, where garments are no longer bound by material limitations.
